Event: After taking a break, Calvert’s is ready to begin their Wine Dinners again.
This time, they are featuring wines from Yakima Valley in Washington State and Sonoma Valley. Donna’s announcement said “Deserie-our favorite blonde- from Prime Wine is brining us B & L Brands, a joint venture between Bobby Flournoy and Lisa Bonet. Bobby will be our speaker telling us about the wines from Airfield Estates in Yakima Valley and Korbin Kameron wines from Sonoma.
Airfield Estates is a family owned and operated winery located in Yakima Valley, Washington State-the oldest AVA. Beginning in 1968, it is on 830 acres with 20 different varietals. A portion of the property was operated as a training base for Army Air Corps Pilot’s during WW II.
Korbin Kameron-the wine brand from Moonridge Vineyard is located top of Mount Veeder and is named after his twins. This Sonoma Valley winery crafts quality Bordeaux varietal wines. The southwest facing vineyard is ideal location for growing high quality Bordeaux varietals, especially Cabernet. With the use of gravelly loam-perfect for growing top notch Cabernet because of the extremely well draining properties.
Join us on the 11th and hearBobby tell you more about these wines as you enjoy Craig’s creations.”
