Peitan Albarino | Rias Baixas, Spain
Peitán is a wonderfully aromatic white wine. Lemon and pear, tropical fruit and floral notes accompany zesty orange peel, peach kernel and honey flavours, with a spicy white pepper finish. Fresh, lively and very flexible with food. We recommend with shellfish or whatever you’re having as catch of the day. Website
Cost: $7.99
DeMorgenzon “DMZ” Chardonnay | Stellenbosch, South Africa
This wine shows sweet vanilla and hints of almonds on the nose with a clean tropical fruit finish. Delicate oak flavours support a rich and full fruit flavour in the mouth with layers of white peach, apricot, grapefruit and vanilla. Website
Cost: $15.99
Prendo Vigneti Delle Dolomiti Pinot Noir | Südtirol/ Alto Adige – IGT Vigneti delle Dolomiti, Italy
100% Pinot Noir. Mouth filling and velvety, rich and elegant body, mild tannins; a fine aroma, delicious and fruity on the nose
Goes best with grilled meat, roasts, game and mature cheese. Website
Cost: $17.99
Lost Angel Mischief Red Blend | California
The name says it all. Maybe we shouldn’t have done it, but it was a lot of fun and we’re glad we did. Fruit-forward and jammy, with hints of cocoa. Website
Cost: $10.99
DeMorgenzon “DMZ” Syrah | Stellenbosch, South Africa
Deep, purple core. Rich, berry fruit nose with lots of ripe, red plum and whiffs of white pepper. Some floral notes in the background, including violets, lavender and spring blossoms. Full in the mouth with tremendous youthful vigour. Layers of berry fruit with developing spices of pepper, cinnamon, clove and vanilla. Gentle oak integration shows and supports the elegance and roundness at this early age. Website
Cost: $15.99
Calipaso Paso Robles Zinfandel | Paso Robles, California
Our CaliPaso Zinfandel is a full-bodied red wine with ripe raspberry fruit accentuated by spices and a hint of black pepper. This “California mystery grape” (because its origins were unknown for such a long time) has aromas of jammy fruit such as blackberry, raspberry, and black cherry. The wine has ripe fruit and concentrated tannins in the mouth. Website
Cost: $13.99
