A comfortable group on Saturday evening
A comfortable group on Saturday evening

I made sure I was wearing some green because I didn’t want to get pinched. We stopped by Cork & Flame (formerly the Vineyard) for their weekend tasting. We were kinda in a hurry so I did a shortened speed tasting. I really liked the Pulenta Pinot Gris. Nice and light but with some fruit up front. I think the Ca’ Momi Rosso would make an excellent everyday wine. And of course the Upshot Red Blend is one of my favorites. I think it was one of the winners at this year’s CoCo Wine Festival. As usual there were some great nibbles.
Next up is their first wine dinner on Wednesday, March 21. If you haven’t made your reservation you’re too late. They are sold out. Don’t fret. They’ll have another tasting next weekend. You’ll be able to hear how great the dinner was.
