Anne Amie Cuvee Amrita | Willamette Valley, Oregon
The name Amrita comes from the Buddhist equivalent of ambrosia, or a wine of the gods. Our Amrita is a unique inspiration each harvest, crafted from different varieties to be an effervescent, fruit-forward wine. It makes a delightful aperitif and is our favorite match with Pan-Asian foods. Website
Cost: $10.99
Crocker & Starr Bridesmaid Sauvignon Blanc |
Barbie Blonde yellow – a very pleasing color greets the eye and the aroma of honey suckle flowers, lime leaves, guava, fresh honeydew melon, and wet stone immediately jump through the glass. The texture is smooth and creamy like the meringue on a pie and has just the right amount of acidity that satisfies the senses and keeps you wanting more. The Semillon brings “jelly” to the more austere Sauvignon Website
Cost: $21.99
PureCru Pinot Noir | Napa Valley, California
Scents of roses, spices and rich earth-mineral notes mingle with red fruit in a seductive manor as only Pinot Noir can be. This medium full bodied wine has a complex core of fruit with balance that keeps it bright. Well suited for many food types. Elegant without excessive weight. Supple on the palate yet well structured in a way that charms and doesn’t yield. Website
Cost: $29.99
1000 Stories Zinfandel |
1000 Stories begins its aging like most Zinfandels: in wine barrels. Then, the tradition transitions to innovation. Bob selects a combination of new and used bourbon barrels to complete the aging process. Each batch is crafted individually and is unique in its final profile. Aging in bourbon barrels imparts characteristics of charred vanilla and dried herbs. Website
Cost: $14.99
Airfield Estates Cabernet Sauvignon | Yakima Valley, Washington
This wine boasts a gorgeous dark color with aromatics of black cherry, plum and blackcurrant followed by layers of sandalwood, graphite and exotic spices. The entry is smooth with refined tannins and a perfect balance of oak and dark red fruit fills out the palate, followed by a lush, lingering finish. Website
Cost: $26.99
Flanagan Estates Beauty of Three 2012 | Sonoma County
The 2012 Flanagan “Beauty of Three” proprietary red is defined by its depth and richness. The wine has a classic Flanagan bouquet of violets and cassis. The palate delivers dark black fruits in balance with nuances of mocha and spice box. The supple structure and balance make this a lovely wine to drink now, but this is without a doubt the most powerful “Beauty of Three” to date. Website
