The Friday afternoon group samples some Motto wines

R oger called this a Argentina Meets California tasting. “We have found some hidden gems for this week’s tasting! We will be tasting a set of wines from Argentina and California. Absolutely delicious.” He was right. I liked them all. The Motto Gung Ho Red Blend was a really nice wine especially for a $12.99. The Motto Unabashed Zin was light but full of fruit.  (If you haven’t figured it out the Motto wines are from California and the Carlos Pulenta -Bodega Vistalba-  are from Argentina).
I think the Carlos Pulenta Alba Vista Torrontes is one of the best I’ve tasted lately.  The Motto Backbone Cab was good but I still think the Gun Ho Red was my favorite.
