Tisdale Cabernet Sauvignon
Tisdale Cabernet Sauvignon

We had a light meal of chicken pasta salad with tomatoes, fresh baby spinach, strawberries, baby cut carrots and red grapes. We tried the Tisdale Cab. It is fruity and mildly sweet. But the finish is a bit off. Heather jumped on that immediately. Hey, it’s $3.99, I’m okay with it. It was an acceptable pour but not a repeat buy. The label recommends it with pasta or grilled meat (the chicken in the pasta salad was grilled in a Montreal Steak Seasoning with some Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce).
Region: Modesto, California
Winery: Tisdale Vineyards
Year: None given
Bought it at: Vineyard Wine Market
Paid: $3.99 (plus 5% discount for buying a half-case during their weekend sale)
Stopper: Plastic Cork with a generic grapes and leaves pattern

Score: I give it 2 corks

Dan’s Rating System:
1 Cork: Mix it with kitty litter so the landfill will accept it
2 Corks: Hey, it’s $3.99 but not a repeat buy. (My mother-in-law might like it).
3 Corks: Buy it again. I’d serve it to my mother.
