La Tierra de Castilla Finca Venta D. Quijote
This delightful Spanish white is lightly herbal with citrus and pear aspects. It also suggests floral and mineral notes, white peaches and honey. This Verdejo is flavorful and zesty with a fresh, crisp finish. The Verdejo grape is becoming better know among American consumers. This Don
Quijote version is a fine example and an inexpensive introduction to Verdejo.  Perfect for seafood and fresh fish. Herbed chicken. Cold zucchini soup tangy cheeses. Broccoli or spinach salads. Cablanca Gouda. Manchego. Appetizers.

A full-fruit “PETS” with aromas and flavors of black cherry and blackberry with hints of blueberry. Tannins are soft and supple. Nicely balanced with a long finish.  A beauty from a family- owned and operated winery traditionally known as a guardian of Petite Sirah and one of its best producers.  Enjoy with grilled meats, flat bread pizza, and aged cheeses.  Sausages with peppers and mushrooms. A fruity, appealing blend of Zinfandel (mostly),  Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon & Petite Sirah. Rich and smooth with blackberry notes and notes of chocolate and hints of coconut. Luscious with a creamy texture from the winemaker’s use of oak. Not sweet, yet not completely dry. We’ve had a number of  requests for Red Velvet.  Here ’tis –at a very good price!
