It’s not all about the wine… there’s cheese as well

S ometimes you got to remember it’s not all about the wine. There is cheese as well and good cheese at that. Grand Camembert, Cablanca Dutch goat cheese and some mediterranean herb  cheeses all added to the really nice wines selected for Wine World’s Third Thursday.

The 3 featured whites make for great summer sippers (I especially liked the first white, Les Tortues).   Two of tonight’s wines  (The White Knight Moscato and Leese Fitch Pinot Noir) were  from “The Other Guys” a division of Don Sebastini and Sons. They got their fingers in some of the more interesting wines coming out of California.

I think my favorite red was the Hahn Cabernet Sauvignon. A really nice wine to finish on. It’s oak and dark berry flavors made it very enjoyable. Nice tasting. Next tasting is First Friday, May 2.
