Here are the detailed wine notes:
Las Colinas Del Ebro Garnatxa Blanca 2016 | Terra Alta, Spain
Dry and fruity. Unique flavor. Slight minerality, light citrus, crisp finish. “Pale yellow. Vibrant and focused on the nose, displaying intense citrus and orchard fruit scents and suggesting tarragon and quinine. Taut and minerally on the palate, offering deepening bitter pear skin and lemon pith flavors. Finishes with good persistence and lift, leaving behind subtle herb and mineral notes.” Pairs well with apple, blueberries, salad and lighter fare.
La Lisse Soie D’Ivoire Chenin Blanc 2016 | Languedoc, France
A bright, lemony and densely fruity ensemble which has a long-lasting and thought-provoking finish, smooth (‘lisse’) as silk (‘soie’). The Chenin Blanc grape variety originally hails from the Loire Valley before it was planted near Limoux in the Haute Vallée de L’Aude. Here in the south, but importantly planted at altitude on the cooler, abrupt hillside slopes of clay and limestone in the foothills of the Pyrenees, it is one of the latest to be picked, achieving full ripeness yet retaining a refreshing crispness. This ripe yet crunchy fruit gives this wine its freshness, vigour and spine and at the same time its luscious texture which is further complemented and enriched from one third vinified and matured for nine months in seasoned French oak. A great partner to grilled fish, chicken and salads. Wonderful with Cape Malay curries, spicy mango salads and brightly flavoured pan-Asian cuisine.
Ponga Sauvignon Blanc 2017 | Marlborough, New Zealand
Pale straw in appearance with brilliant clarity. Vibrant aromas of ripe citrus and tropical fruits on the nose lead into a refreshing palate full of white peach and grapefruit. The crisp and clean aromas are accented with chalky, mineral tones. A vibrant wine with great acid backbone and a deliciously satisfying finish. Enjoy with a wide variety of seafood, especially Pacific oysters on the half-shell, or simply as a brilliant aperitif. Website
Campobello Chianti Riserva | Campobello Chianti Riserva
Sangiovese and Canaiolo. Pretty ruby red in color, with a nose that suggests cherries and berries. The flavors feature cherry and plum with a little spice, wrapped in a smooth texture for a subtle, yet complex presentation. The finish is smooth, with a bit of mellow, toasty tannin at the end. Fettuccine Frutti de Mar. Website
Chateau Bordeneuve 2016 | Bordeaux, France
33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Franc. Vegetal nose with ripe dark fruits, berries, black currants and notes of menthol and pepper. On the palate, notes of raspberry, a hint of aniseed ans accented dark berry and cassis. Concentrated mid-palate with firm tannins. Venison, Roast, Grilled Kielbasa. Website
Line 39 Red Blend 2016 | California
Petit Verdot, Petit Sirah, Zinfandel and Merlot Concentrated aromas of blackberry jam, ripe raspberries, mocha and warm toasted oak. The rich and structured palate of plum, dark chocolate, sweet vanilla and spice culminate into a long and lingering finish. Enjoy with Sweet Texas BBQ, rack of lamb, or pancetta and sausage pizza.
