I’m at Pizza Point and it’s First Friday. It’s raining so we aren’t swamped by the usual First Friday crowd. I’m ready for a brew. I sampled the Southern Tier Pumpking and Brooklyn Brew’s Oktoberfest. Pumpking won because it is so intense that I will sip this for a long time.

This puppy is loaded with cinnamon and pumpkin flavors. Very dry finish. Forces me to nurse it. Not a beer you take gulps of. One of the reasons I decided to try this brew is I purchased several different “pumpkin” brews to sample this weekend. I was going to invite the boys over to sample them but it didn’t work out. I plan drink at least 2 this weekend while watching the Michigan-Michigan State and the Auburn-Arkansas games.
Meanwhile I enjoy this brew. It reminds me of Bison Gingerbread Ale but that brew is much drier. I think I like this one better.
