Roger is holding a fundraiser to support the Physician Assistant Free Clinic Sundaym February 22, 2015 from 4-7 PM.
Physician Assistant Free Clinic Fund clinic began in February of 2005 by the Class of 2006. It was held one Saturday a month at Christ Episcopal Church during their soup kitchen. Each PA class has made their own individual improvements to the clinic. In 2011, the Class of 2013, began forming an official organization. CCHC received their 501(c)3 tax exempt status from the IRS in the fall of 2011. Another big change came about in the fall of 2011, the Class of 2013 added a second location, Mercy Center, on 15th street. This clinic occurs the first Saturday of every other month. This addition allowed us to reach a new subset of the medically under-served in the CSRA. An additional first transpired in December of 2011, the Class of 2013 donated 100 influenza vaccinations and provided them at both clinic locations
