W ine World had a Frescobaldi Wines tasting seminar with Michael Simmons, of Ben Arnold Selections. Frescobaldi is a Florentine family with thirty generations dedicated to the production of great Tuscan wines in five estates in Tuscany. With 700 years of history you’ll have to attend this seminar to truly appreciate that history.
The Benjamins said “we’re delighted to welcome Michael Simmons back. His recent Oregon seminar was very popular. Michael has a special place in his heart for these Italian wines. Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi, Tuscany, and Beni di Batasiolo, Piedmont, are two of Italy’s most highly regarded wineries. Regular retail prices of the wines ranged from approximately $12 to $94”
