I stopped by on my way to have dinner with the family at Antonios. Nice little tasting. I was very impressed with the Darcie Kent Grüner Veltliner. I think I could enjoy this during the summer. The Herdade do Esporao Alandra Rosé had very nice body. Shame we didn’t have this one at a recent Rosé tasting we had.
At the red table I enjoyed all three but the Aguaribay Malbec was my favorite. The cheeses were great as usual, made even nicer by the evening’s cheese girl, Anna Sheets: Castello Dill Havarti, Smith’s Farmstead Sun-Dried Tomato and Basil Gouda and Clawson’s Cotsworld (double Glouchester with rehydrated onions and freeze-dried chives.)
