T ime for Wine World’s First Friday. Two wines from Antarctica will be featured (April Fools- there’s 6 and there’s no wines in Antarctica). There are 3 reds and 3 whites. One red is bourbon barrel aged which is the up and coming thing in California. And don’t forget their great cheeses.

Nicolas Pinot Noir Rosé 2015 | Languedoc, France
Bright fresh nose suggests cherry & red currant with a floral edge. Fruity flavor with light citrus taste. Well balanced. Melon, prosciutto. Salade Nicoise. Shrimp. Grilled fish & chicken.
Willamette Riesling 2014 | Willamette, Oregon

Ironstone Cabernet Franc 2014 | Lodi, California
Bright berry fruit & toasty vanilla. Flavors include cherry & raspberry with oak undertones. Beef or grilled chicken with berry sauces. Braised pork with peppers. Lamb kebobs.
1000 Stories Small Batch Zinfandel | Mendocino, California
Bourbon barrel-aged Zinfandel. Deep, rich purple color. Raspberry fruit on the nose, with black pepper spice & a touch of cloves and dried herbs. The palate is full with ripe tannins & big black & red fruits. Carpaccio, Rack of Lamb Pizza. Crispy Deep-Fried Ribs.
