The 16 judges for the 7th Annual CoCo Wine Festival

Paul Hobbs Crossbarn Cabernet Sauvignon was announced as the Best In Show winner today for the 7th Annual CoCo Wine Festival. It also won gold for the Over $20 Cabernet Sauvignon category.

Chairman Pat Goodwin announced the 53 award winning wines that were judged last Thursday night at a blind judging held at the Vineyard Wine Market. Four panels of 4 judges each used the Davis 20pt system to judge the contest that resulted in 58 total awards.

The judging is for the Festival being held Saturday, October 13, 2012, from 1 to 4PM at the Savannah Rapids Pavilion. Tickets can be purchased in advance at $35 online or at local wine retailers. Tickets at the door will be $40.

The festival will feature food from local restaurants and caterers, live Jazz and of course hundreds of wines to sample. A free wine glass is included with the price of the ticket.
