I agree about the Katie Barnes/Thomas Creek comment. She drastically improves the aesthetics in any brewery. (although Page, Stephanie, Teri and Rachel are fine looking women) Take this with a grain of salt though, I'm the guy that drug her out to San Diego. I miss you Columbia!

I had the good fortune to be invited to a tasting of the Hearst Ranch wines last Friday and I can not say enough good things about the wines. Each of the 5 wines we tasted was better than the one before. I have never tasted 5 wines from a single winery that were all great. Each wine had it's own personality, and yet there was a common thread through all the wines. The commonality is the loving care and attention by people that make a good wine great. Please continue loving the wines, it shows.

Is there a reason why your mother-in-law gets bashed for everything? I couldn't remember buying any wine at Christmas.....then your FATHER IN LAW admitted he was the giver! But I have strong shoulders and a big heart, so go ahead and continue to use the mother-in-law stories. Love you.

We opened our first bottle of Crimson & Clover. What a beautiful wine. John has done well in honoring his dad with this wine. We are heading out to the wine store for additional bottles.

Discovered this wine years ago and added 10 cases of 2006 to my wine cellar. The 2009 is excellent. Downside is the cork. Several good cork screws have succombed to this rugged stopper. Best value in an affordable cab.

Tripp. I'm very proud that this brew is being produced by Auburn Grads (at least 3/4). Make sense since it's a very nice brew. I look forward to reviewing the Naked Pig. WAR EAGLE.
