Weekend Tasting-Vineyard-July 6-7

If you are reading this on Saturday and like red wines then hop in your car and drive to Vineyard Wine Market just so you can try Primus Red Blend. This wine has been featured at other tastings recently and at $16.99 this is a bargain. And you’ll probably like the Justin Cab as well although that’s priced a bit too high for the Cheap Wine Bastard.

Into craft brews that aren’t over the top, too heavy or in your face then you’ve got to try the four brews they are featuring especially the Victory Moon Glow Weizebock and if you like an IPA that isn’t super bitter and in your face hoppy then you’ll lik ethe Shipyard IPA. Nice light summertime IPA for sure. An interesting one is the Shipyard Applehead Ale. It almost smells a bit like apple butter. Strong apple and cinnamon aromas more so that the taste. The taste is a light ale with green apple flavors. The Shipyard Export Ale is a nice amber color and has lots of fizz to it.
